AIR FRYER CARROT CHIPS

Air fryer carrot chips are a delicious and healthy snack option! Sliced carrots are tossed in a small amount of oil and seasonings. Then, they are air-fried.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of carrots chips or sliced carrots
  • olive oil spray
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Peel and slice carrots about 1/4 inch thick, or use pre-chopped carrot chips. Pat the carrot chips dry with paper towels.
  • Add the carrot chips to a large bowl and lightly spray them with olive oil. Then, add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika to the bowl. Toss the carrots in these seasonings until evenly coated.
  • Place the seasoned carrot chips in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry the carrot chips at 375°F for 10-12 minutes. Shake them in the basket halfway through. Once done, carefully remove them from the air fryer and enjoy.

Notes

  • Pat Dry: Use paper towels to pat dry the carrots so the oil and seasonings stick to them.
  • Don’t Overcrowd: Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket. Arrange the carrot chips in a single layer so they cook evenly.
  • Use Whole Carrots Instead: If you don’t have carrot chips, you can use whole carrots instead. Peel and slice the carrots about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Crispy: Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket and shake the basket halfway through for even cooking.
