EASY MANGO SALSA RECIPE

Mango salsa has to be an all-time favorite! It's so sweet and fresh with a kick of heat from the jalapeño. This easy mango salsa recipe is perfect with chips, fish tacos, or even straight out of the bowl with a spoon.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium-sized ripe mangoes
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1 bunch of cilantro chopped
  • 1 medium-sized red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 medium-sized jalapeño seeded and finely diced
  • 2 small limes, juiced
  • 1 small lime, zested
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the mangoes, cilantro, red bell pepper,  jalapeño, and limes. Then, cut the mango into small pieces and avoid the pit. Next, dice the red onion, finely chop the cilantro, and chop the red bell pepper. After that, seed the jalapeño and finely dice it. Also, zest one lime and squeeze the lime juice of two limes. Next, crush the cloves of garlic.
  • Once everything is prepped, add the mangoes, red onion, cilantro, red bell pepper, jalapeño, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, and salt to a bowl.
  • Thoroughly mix the mango salsa and enjoy! This mango salsa is delicious with chips, raw veggies, grilled fish, fresh fish tacos, quesadillas, and much more!

Notes

  • Storage: I usually eat this mango salsa fresh when I make it. Or, you can store it for up to three days in the fridge in an airtight container.
  • Add Peach or Pineapple: We love the flavor of mango in this salsa. However, this mango salsa would be great with pineapple or peach. To do this, replace half of the mango with some chopped pineapple or chopped peaches.
