After that, cut the mango, dice the red onion, chop the cilantro, chop the red bell pepper, seed and dice the jalapeño, zest the lime, squeeze the lime juice, and crush the cloves of garlic.

Then, add the mangoes, red onion, cilantro, red bell pepper, jalapeño, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, and salt to a bowl.

Mango salsa has to be an all-time favorite! It’s so sweet and fresh with a kick of heat from the jalapeño. This easy mango salsa recipe is perfect with chips, fish tacos, or even straight out of the bowl with a spoon.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium-sized ripe mangoes

  • 1/2 CUP diced red onion, about one medium red onion

  • 1 bunch of cilantro, chopped

  • 1 medium-sized red bell pepper, chopped

  • 1 medium-sized jalapeño, seeded and finely diced

  • juice of 2 small limes

  • zest of 1 small lime

  • 1-2 cloves of garlic, crushed

  • 1/2 TSP salt

Directions

  • Wash and dry the mangoes, cilantro, red bell pepper,  jalapeño, and limes. Then, cut the mango into small pieces and avoid the pit. Next, dice the red onion, finely chop the cilantro, and chop the red bell pepper. After that, seed the jalapeño and finely dice it. Also, zest one lime and squeeze the lime juice of two limes. Next, crush the cloves of garlic.
  • Once everything is prepped, add the mangoes, red onion, cilantro, red bell pepper, jalapeño, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, and salt to a bowl.
  • Thoroughly mix the mango salsa and enjoy! This mango salsa is delicious with chips, raw veggies, grilled fish, fresh fish tacos, quesadillas, and much more!
