Healthy Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe

Servings: 1 latte
- 1-2 espresso shots or 4 ounces of brewed hot coffee
- 8 ounces unsweetened vanilla almond milk or milk of choice
- 3 tablespoons pumpkin puree
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 teaspoons sweetener of choice
- 1 pinch of salt
Brew the espresso or coffee.
Add the unsweetened almond milk, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, sweetener of choice, and a pinch of salt to a saucepan.
Whisk all of the ingredients in the saucepan together. Heat the ingredients in the saucepan on the stove.
Pour the warm pumpkin mixture over your espresso or coffee in a heat-resistant mug and stir. Top with whipped cream if you like, and enjoy!
- Pumpkin Pie Spice: If you don’t have pumpkin pie spice, combine ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, ⅛ teaspoon of nutmeg, ⅛ teaspoon of ginger, and a pinch of cloves.
- Milk Options: Use your milk of choice in this recipe. Some options are 1% milk, non-fat milk, almond milk, cashew milk, oat milk, or your favorite.
- High-Protein Option: Omit the sweetener and add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to the mix.
