  • Freeze Leftover Fresh Tarragon: For this recipe, use fresh tarragon if you can. With the leftover chopped fresh tarragon, you can put it in an ice cube tray with a little bit of water and freeze it. This is great because no tarragon goes to waste, and you can use it the next time you make this chicken salad or for another recipe that calls for tarragon. Keep in mind that you will need to add a little more tarragon if you freeze it because the flavor isn’t as strong as fresh tarragon.
  • Slice the Grapes: Cutting the grapes in half or into quarters, depending on the size, makes them easier to eat and helps distribute their sweet, juicy flavor throughout the salad.
