Ingredients

  • 1 pineapple

  • lime juice to taste

  • Optional: Tajin, chili lime seasoning

Directions

  • Cut the pineapple into rings that are about ½ to 1 inch in height. Then, cut the rings into 4 pieces like a pizza. Or, feel free to use frozen pineapple chunks or canned pineapple.
  • Remove the core of the fresh pineapple from each cut. You can leave the rind on the fresh pineapple.
  • Place parchment paper in your air fryer. Then, place the fresh pineapple pieces, frozen pineapple chunks, or canned pineapple on top of the parchment paper in the air fryer.
  • Air fry the pineapple at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes. There is no preheating required. Then, flip the pineapple pieces and air fry them on the other side for 3-4 minutes, depending on the size of the pineapple and your air fryer.
  • Once air fried, let it cool, remove the pineapple, and squeeze a wedge of lime on top. We love to top our air fryer pineapple with some Tajin for a kick.
