What Are The Layers Of A Peach Trifle?
This peach trifle has three flavorful layers that work perfectly together. The first layer consists of light, fluffy, and airy angel food cake. The second layer is fresh juicy peaches. This trifle would not be complete without the third layer of a mixture of pudding and whipped cream.
How To Make Peach Trifle With Angel Food Cake

First, chop all of the peaches into small pieces and remove the pits. Then, add the chopped peaches to a large bowl along with the vanilla extract, sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice. After that, thoroughly mix the peaches in the bowl.

Next, take half of the peaches and add them to a separate bowl.
Mash half of the peaches with a potato masher. Then, add the mashed peaches to the bowl with the rest of the peaches.
After that, add the milk to another large bowl. Then, pour in the vanilla instant pudding mix as you continuously whisk.

Make sure to whisk these ingredients until a thick pudding is formed. Next, fold in the Cocowhip with the pudding. After that, cut the angel food cake into cubes.
Assemble The Peach Trifle
To assemble the peach trifle, start with your first layer of angel food cake. After that, add the chopped peaches. Then, add the pudding cream mixture. Repeat these layers and assemble your trifle until you reach the top of the bowl.
Chill The Trifle
After the trifle is assembled, place some tin foil or saran wrap over the top. Then, place it in the refrigerator to chill. Let the trifle chill for 3-6 hours before serving and enjoy!

We recommend assembling this peach trifle in a trifle bowl. This trifle bowl is 8 inches in diameter, 8 1/4 inches high, and can hold about 16 cups. This recipe makes 16 servings, or about 16 cups so it is perfect! Also, assembling the peach trifle in a trifle bowl makes it a showstopper and shows off the layers! If you don’t have a trifle bowl you can use a large bowl.
How Long Does Trifle Last In The Fridge?
This peach trifle will last up to two days in the refrigerator. It is best enjoyed after making it and when it is chilled. To store any leftovers, place tin foil or saran wrap over the top of the trifle dish and place it in the refrigerator. If you would like to store individual servings, refrigerate the trifle in air-tight containers.

PEACH TRIFLE WITH ANGEL FOOD CAKE

- 1 store-bought angel food cake
- 4 pounds fresh peaches
- 9 ounce container of light whipped topping, CocoWhip, or TruWhip
- 1 box of vanilla instant pudding mix, regular or sugar-free
- 2 cups 1 percent milk or milk of choice for the pudding mix
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon sugar or monk fruit
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
- Chop all of the peaches into small pieces and remove the pits. Then, add all of the chopped peaches to a large bowl.
- Add the vanilla extract, sugar or monk fruit, lemon zest, and lemon juice to the large bowl with the peaches. Thoroughly mix the peaches.
- Take half of the peaches and add them to a separate bowl. Leave the other half in the original large bowl. In the separate bowl, mash half of the peaches with a potato masher to release the juices. Once mashed, add them back to the large bowl with the rest of the peaches.
- Add the milk to another large bowl. Then, pour in the vanilla instant pudding mix a little bit at a time as you continuously whisk. Follow the directions on the instant pudding mix box and whisk these ingredients until a thick pudding is formed.
- Add the CocoWhip to the bowl with the pudding and fold it in once the pudding is thick.
- Cut the angel food cake into 1-2 inch cubes.
- To assemble the trifle, start with your first layer of angel food cake. Next, add the peaches. Then, add the pudding cream mixture. Repeat these layers until you reach the top of the trifle bowl.
- Cover the trifle bowl with tin foil or saran wrap. Chill the trifle in the refrigerator for 3-6 hours and enjoy! Optional: Dust the top of the trifle with cinnamon, fresh peaches, and whipped cream before serving.
