What To Do With Festive Ice Cubes
Add these festive ice cubes to mocktails, cocktails, sparkling water, lemonade, or your favorite juice. They are an excellent addition to holiday beverages and add a pop of color.

Expert Tips
- Double Boil The Water: For a higher chance of having clear ice cubes, rather than cloudy ones when the water freezes, double boil the water beforehand. To do this, boil water and then let it cool. Then, boil it again and let it completely cool. Once cooled, fill the ice cube tray with the double-boiled water.
- Freeze Until Solid: Wait until the ice cubes freeze before using them. We recommend freezing them overnight to ensure they are completely frozen.
- Make More Ice Cubes: Make as many ice cubes as you want. Fill as many ice cube trays as you need.
- Use A Different Ice Cube Tray: Use different ice cube trays to have various ice cube shapes. Holiday ice cube trays are great, as well. We filled a snowflake ice cube tray with water to make festive ice cubes.

How To Store Holiday Ice Cubes
Once frozen, you can leave the ice cubes in the ice cube tray or transfer them to a freezer-safe bag. Store them in the freezer until you are ready to use them. It is convenient to have them in a bag so they are ready to enjoy during the holiday season!
Variations
- Customize Them: Customize what you add to each ice cube. We made some ice cubes with cranberries and rosemary. We added orange wedges, rosemary, and cranberries to some for another pop of color. Also, pomegranate arils and lime are a great combination. Customize what ingredients you use and what you want your ice cubes to look like.
- Use Frozen Cranberries Or Fruit: If you don’t have fresh cranberries, you can use frozen cranberries or frozen fruit instead.
- Different Herbs: If you don’t want to add fresh rosemary sprigs, you can use fresh thyme leaves or mint leaves instead.
- Juice Cubes: Instead of filling these ice cubes with water, fill them with your favorite juice. Apple, orange, cranberry, and pomegranate juice are great options. Add frozen juice cubes to sparkling water, champagne, or Prosecco for flavor!
