Expert Tips

  • Chop the Bacon: Finely chop the cooked bacon to ensure the flavor is evenly distributed throughout the quiche.
  • Let the Quiche Rest: Allow the quiche to rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing. This step is crucial for allowing the cottage cheese to set and achieve the perfect texture.
  • Baking Dish Size: Use a 9-inch round pie dish for this quiche. If you don’t have a pie dish, you can use a 9×9-inch square baking dish and turn it into an egg bake!

Garnish with freshly chopped chives or crumbled bacon for an extra burst of flavor before serving.

Storage Instructions

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. We don’t recommend freezing this quiche, as cottage cheese does not freeze well, and it will alter the texture of the quiche.
