I love skinny margaritas! So, today we are sharing an easy skinny margarita recipe with you. They are refreshing and always remind me of warm weather, relaxing, and just having a good time. I decided to use a margarita mix for this recipe because it adds complex flavor and it’s easy. Also, we’ve added some fresh lime to brighten it up. Cheers to your relaxing and having a good time!
How To Make Skinny Margaritas
To make these margaritas, pour some water on a plate. Then, dip your glass in the water and then in the salt or chili lime seasoning.
After that, put the ice cubes, tequila, margarita mix, and sparkling water into your glass. Then, cut a small lime in half and squeeze it into the glass. Lightly mix and enjoy!
A Few Notes & Tips
How to Salt The Rim of Your Glass
One way to salt the rim of your glass is to fill a plate with water and dip the rim of your glass in the plate and then in the salt. Another way is to use part of the lime that’s cut around the rim of the glass then put the rim of the glass in your salt.
Why Use Flavored Sparkling Water For This Margarita?
The flavored water works well to add another layer of flavor to your margarita without calories. I really like using grapefruit-infused sparkling water because it compliments the other flavors in the margarita. You could also use lemon sparkling water. If you don’t have either, plain sparkling water will work as well.
